Who operates Olo Book
Olo Book is operated by Olo Wings, a proprietorship of Pradeep Kumar Sahoo. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@olobook.in.
Business data stored on your device
Products, parties, invoices, purchases, inventory, payment records, expenses, employee records, attendance, payroll and related settings are designed to be stored locally on the Android device. Olo Book does not send this business database through the Google account entitlement boundary.
You control exports, backups and files that you choose to share. Device loss, uninstalling the app or clearing app data may remove local records, so regular verified backups are important.
Google sign-in and entitlement information
Google Sign-in is used to verify the account and software entitlement. A Google identity token is sent securely to the Olo Book entitlement service for verification. The verified account and entitlement response is stored encrypted on the device. The service may process account identity, entitlement status, verification time and ordinary security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
Support and website communications
When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, business question and diagnostic information. We use it to answer requests, provide product support, prevent abuse and maintain service records. Do not send passwords, OTPs, banking credentials or unnecessary customer data.
Device permissions and sharing
Camera access supports barcode or document-related capture; Bluetooth supports compatible printing; biometric access supports device authentication; and vibration supports feedback. Olo Book opens the phone SMS app with a prepared message—it does not silently send SMS. Invoice or report sharing happens only when you choose a share action.
Android and third-party apps used for Google Sign-in, WhatsApp, SMS, printing or file sharing may process information under their own policies.
Purpose, retention and disclosure
Limited account and support information is used for authentication, entitlement, customer support, security, legal compliance and service improvement. We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers that operate essential infrastructure, or when required by law. Retention is limited to the period reasonably needed for these purposes, disputes, security and legal obligations.
Your choices and requests
Request deletion of your Olo Book account and associated data. This page explains how to contact support without reinstalling the app, ownership verification, the data deleted and retention. Signing out does not delete your server account.
We use a hash of the verified sign-in email to locate account records for verified support requests; this is pseudonymous account data, not anonymous data. You may also control Android permissions and avoid optional sharing. Specific legal, security or dispute-related retention exceptions will be explained when applicable.
Security, children and changes
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no device, transmission or storage method is completely secure. Olo Book is a business product and is not directed to children. Material policy changes will be published here with a revised date.
